Year 3

Welcome back children!

 

Hello and welcome to Year 3! 

 

We are delighted to be your new teachers and look forward to working with you and your families this year.

 

Mrs Aslam teaches Monday and Tuesday

Mrs Fiaz teaches Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Mrs Flint will support the children within class and is in school daily

Our Class Charity.

 

Year 3 will be supporting 'Bury Hospice' this year. 

 

Bury Hospice is a local charity delivering very special nursing and medical care to local men and women who are living with a life-threatening or terminal illness whilst supporting their families and carers.

 

Bury Hospice is an independent registered charity delivering invaluable palliative and end-of-life care to thousands of local residents and their families across Bury and the wider area.

 

About the Hospice

Bury Hospice opened its doors in 1991 and since this time they have continued to provide their services to thousands of local residents and their families across Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Radcliffe, Tottington and Ramsbottom.

Their services include a specialist 24 hour inpatient unit, medical and respite facilities, complementary therapy, family bereavement support, a weekly Christie blood and SACT clinic and they also have a dedicated community outreach team who service the needs of patient and their families in their own homes.

Year 3 have been making Christmas Cards in Computing.

Which surface creates the most amount of friction?

Forces and Magnets

 

In Science we have been looking at how objects move on different surfaces. We made 5 ramps using different materials to see which material created the most amount of friction.
