Hello and welcome to our Reception class at Holy Trinity Primary School. In our  class we aim to provide the very best early experiences of school life. We work towards achieving the Early Learning Goals stated within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Through the use of high quality provision, interesting learning experiences and opportunities we will enable your child to achieve and reach their learning and development potential. Children in our Reception class are encouraged to become independent learners and to take some responsibility for initiating their own lines of enquiry and investigation through play.

The Reception team are: Mrs Doughty (EYFS Leader), Mrs Robinson and Mrs Parveen. 

Class Information

Your child will be need a school book bag which they will bring to school each day. Every child will be given a home reading book, this will either be a story book to share or a guided reading book which your child will be able to read independently.

Each Friday your child will be given a newsletter which will inform you about what we have been  learning, up and coming events and a homework task. 

Please could you make sure that all clothing is named, including  book bags. It makes it much easier for us to reunite lost clothing when it has a name in it.
